Ghost Orchid Antiques & Collectables is pleased to offer these rare and beautiful Romanian hand made traditional wall cloths which are an exceptional find. It is not unusual to enter a Romanian home and see a beautiful plate on the wall with one of these wall cloths gracefully draped over the plate. I have such an arrangement in my apartment and I have found these linen cloths to serve as table runners as well.

1. The first of these remarkable cloths is made from heavy white linen that has softened over the years and measures 55” in length and 12 ¾” width. The long edges are finished with 2” of open stitch lacy crochet hand work and completed with 2” of fringe. Each end of the wall cloth/table runner is adorned with a traditional Romanian embroidered floral design. The floral pattern is hand done and measures 11 ½ “ in length and extends the full width of the cloth. Care Instructions: Spot clean if possible and let dry in the sun. Hand wash in very mild detergent, do not wring or twist and let dry in the sun. Iron and starch as desired.

2. The second cloth is made from heavy white linen and measures 52 ¼ “length and is 12 ¼ “wide. The length is enhanced with the addition of 4 ½ “of hand made lace in a scallop design. Each end of the wall cloth/table runner is complimented with a traditional Romanian embroidered floral design and matching border below the pattern. The floral design measures 6” including border and covers the width of the cloth. Care Instructions: Spot clean if possible and let dry in the sun. Hand wash in very mild detergent, do not wring or twist and let dry in the sun. Iron and starch as desired.

3. The third cloth is also made from heavy white linen and measures 59” length and 12” in width. Each end of this lovely cloth is finished with ¾” of open stitch lacy crochet hand work and completed with 4” of matching fringe. Each end of the wall cloth/table runner is adorned with a traditional Romanian embroidered floral design. The floral pattern is hand done and measures 6” and covers the width of the cloth. Care Instructions: Spot clean if possible and let dry in the sun. Hand wash in very mild detergent, do not wring or twist and let dry in the sun. Iron and starch as desired.
