Ghost Orchid Antiques and Collectibles, Inc. was created in 2004 after my trip to the mountains of Romania.

I was so inspired by the kindness of its people; the beautiful countryside; the extraordinary sense of community and neighbor helping neighbor that I decided to begin to import as much of the beautiful items crafted predominantly by pensioners as possible.

The pensioners or retirees are expected to live on about $50.00 per month, so this is my way of trying to give back to the people who changed my life and to introduce these rare and unique items that are made today in the same way that has been done for hundreds of years to the people of the United States.
