Excerpt: This most unusual doll was handcrafted for Ghost Orchid Antiques by my friend, Irina Reit, who is from Romania. Irina creates dolls to represent the Grandfathers and Grandmothers from Romania’s village country. For each doll that Irina makes it takes her more than 30 hours. Every doll is unique and dressed with specific folklore costumes representing different /zonas (zones) of Romania. Each doll is approximately 20″ to 22″ inches tall and is designed to be pose-able.
